Need an MOT in Greenford? MH Auto Repair Centre books your MOT at an authorised test centre nearby, checks the car over beforehand at our Perivale/Greenford workshop and fixes anything it fails on. We are a family-run garage that specialises in car body repairs, with servicing, diagnostics, tyres, suspension work and vehicle recovery too. If you live or work around Greenford, from the Broadway down to the Grand Union Canal, send us your registration and MOT due date on WhatsApp.
MOT in Greenford: how it works with us
The test itself is carried out at an authorised MOT test centre near our workshop, and we book it for you. The work around the MOT happens here:
- Before the test: a pre-MOT check, so obvious problems can be sorted before the car goes in.
- If it fails or gets advisories: we quote for the MOT repairs and carry them out at our workshop.
- Bodywork and corrosion: the MOT checks the body for excessive corrosion and sharp edges that could cause injury. Bodywork is our main job, and we also do welding repairs.
To get started, send your registration, make and model and the date your current MOT runs out on WhatsApp to 07533 280206. Our MOT page has more on how we handle MOTs.
When is your MOT due?
A car needs its first MOT by the third anniversary of its registration, then every year after that. You can have the test up to a month (minus a day) before your current MOT runs out and keep the same renewal date. Check your due date and the car’s test history free on GOV.UK.
Where to find us
Our workshop is at MH Auto Repair Centre Ltd., Unit 17, Fleetway Business Park, 14–16 Wadsworth Rd, Perivale, Greenford UB6 7LD. It is a working unit on a business park, so we recommend messaging us before you set off so we know you are coming and what the car needs. Check your route in advance, as we do not quote journey times.
Car body repairs: our main job
Bodywork is what the workshop is known for. We repair dents, scratches, bumper damage and paintwork, and we deal with accident damage too. Start from our car body repairs page, or go straight to the job you need:
- Dent repair and panel repair
- Scratch repair and paint repair
- Bumper repair
- Accident repair, with help on insurance repairs
- Alloy wheel repair, alloy wheel painting and diamond cut wheel repair
Everything else the car needs
Because we are a full garage as well as a bodyshop, you can sort out your MOT, service and fault diagnosis through one workshop. Worn tyres and suspension problems are covered, and if a car cannot be driven you can ask about vehicle recovery. For a general check-up, our free vehicle inspection is a sensible place to start.
Why Greenford drivers choose a family-run garage
You deal directly with the people doing the work. Our technicians bring around six years of relevant experience, genuine parts are used where appropriate, and completed repair work comes with a 6-month warranty. We quote after inspecting the car so you know what you are agreeing to. Ask us whether a replacement vehicle is available for your job, and about any current offers. We do not do same-day repairs, and some jobs may take around 3–5 days depending on what is involved.
Getting started
Send a WhatsApp message to 07533 280206 with your car’s make, model and registration, plus photos of the damage or a line about the fault. We will tell you what we think is involved and arrange a time. You can also use the free estimate form or book via our appointment page.
Nearby areas
We also look after drivers in neighbouring Perivale, Northolt, Southall and Hanwell. See Areas We Cover for the complete list.
MOT and garage questions from Greenford drivers
Is your workshop actually in Greenford?
Our address is Unit 17, Fleetway Business Park, 14–16 Wadsworth Road, Perivale, Greenford UB6 7LD, so it is a Greenford postal address in the Perivale area. It is our only workshop.
Can I just turn up without messaging first?
We would rather you messaged us first on WhatsApp so we can plan the time and tell you what to expect. It also lets you send photos for an initial opinion.
Do you also fix mechanical faults, not just bodywork?
Yes. Alongside bodywork we handle servicing, diagnostics, tyres and suspension, and we arrange MOTs with pre-MOT checks and MOT repairs done here. You can check a vehicle’s test history for free on GOV.UK.
Can I get an MOT in Greenford through you?
Yes. We book your MOT at an authorised MOT test centre near our Perivale/Greenford workshop, and we can check the car over beforehand and carry out any repairs it needs. Message us on WhatsApp with your registration and MOT due date.
What happens if my car fails its MOT?
Send us the failure list and we will look at the items and quote for the MOT repairs at our workshop. Repair times depend on the work required. Some jobs may take around 3–5 days, with a clearer timeframe after inspection.
Need a hand with your car?
